I Who We Are

A resident experience company, not a barbershop.

The Prestigious Cut® partners with senior living communities to deliver professionally managed grooming programmes for distinguished gentlemen — preserving confidence, reinforcing dignity, and enriching quality of life.

We are not a barbershop that visits senior communities. We are a resident experience company that has chosen grooming as our discipline — because the quiet ritual of a well-kept appearance is one of the last, most personal forms of self-continuity a gentleman keeps as his world contracts. The men we serve built companies, raised families, and stood at podiums. They still ought to look like themselves.

The Standard

“A gentleman never retires from being a gentleman.”

II What a Partnership Looks Like

A standing programme, quietly run.

Your community receives a named Program Lead — a licensed, background-checked, dementia-care-trained field barber who becomes a familiar figure to the residents they serve. The lead is on your grounds on a standing schedule, weekly or bi-weekly by default, with cover arranged in advance so no appointment is ever missed for a personal reason.

III The First Ninety Days

A quiet, deliberate on-ramp.

  1. Week one — a visit to your grounds. No pitch deck. We walk the corridors, meet the ED and Life Enrichment lead, and ask more questions than we answer.
  2. Weeks two and three — partnership agreement structured; insurance, licensure, and compliance documentation delivered to your team.
  3. Week four — your Program Lead introduced to the ED, Life Enrichment lead, and any resident council contact. Introductions are unhurried.
  4. Weeks five and six — first standing appointments held. Preference notes opened. Families notified only if the community wishes.
  5. Month three — first monthly summary delivered. A brief review with the ED. Any adjustments to cadence, room, or communication captured in an amendment.
IV What We Ask of You

Three small things, kept simple.

A Quiet Room

A private or semi-private space with reasonable light and a chair the resident finds comfortable. In many communities this is a hair salon; in others it is the resident's own room. Either is fine.

A Standing Cadence

A regular day of the week we can hold. Continuity is worth more than frequency; a bi-weekly appointment held for two years is worth more than a weekly appointment held for six months.

A Point of Contact

A single member of your staff — typically the Life Enrichment lead — who our Program Lead can quietly text when a schedule needs to bend around a doctor's appointment or a family visit.

Everything Else

Handled on our side. Licensing, screening, insurance, sanitation, family communication, invoicing, documentation, and the small logistical detail of running the programme itself.

V Commercial Terms

Priced clearly. Kept flexible.

Item Detail
Rate Per-resident-per-appointment. Tiered by service (cut, cut & shave, extended memory-care visit). Discussed at the first conversation.
Billing Model Direct resident billing, community-paid programme, or a hybrid. All three are supported without preference on our part.
Term One-year initial term for single-community partnerships, with a ninety-day termination for convenience by either party.
Renewal Automatic, unless either party gives sixty days' notice. Rates locked for the initial term.
VI The Documents Behind This One

Where to read further, if you would like to.

VII Begin a Conversation

The right place to start is your grounds.

We work with a small number of communities each year. A quiet conversation on your grounds, at a time that suits you, is the right place to start — no pitch decks, no sales calls. Ninety minutes, on your terms, tea welcome.
